the picture above is an ARB, try taking a look at www.tjmproducts.com.au, www.rovertym.com, www.safarigard.com and I beleive DAP has a couple different ones aswell.

Personally I like the bar on the D1 (because I'm biased). Here's what I did with mine. I turned the bull bar into an air receiver for my air compressor. you will notice on the righthand side of the picture an air coupling. This is for pumping up tire etc. At the base of that downward tube that the air coupling is attached too(not visible in photo), is a condensate bleed nipple. On the otherside (not in photo) instead of a bleed nipple, an air hose is connected that leads to the air horns. So while the D2 bar looks good, it can't be utilised for anything else.

I have to say this though...my intent on getting the bull bar is (hope this never happens) to save the trucks front end, but the biggest reason being to save my girlfriends life if a head on or front end crash ever happens. This being the key factor, the ARB bars are the only one that I have noticed to built with airbags in mind. Are their other brands? Just wonering.

They have a sale on the ARB brush bar and Warn XD900 winch. I have the ARB brush bar and it definitely make the truck look better. I just wish I could get the winch.

personally i think the bull bars at come from the factory or landrover are a PoS. IMO it's just a very expensive place to put your lights. if you want something sturdy and can handle knocks and such, get something aftermarket like the arb's, rovertyme safari etc
hopefully i didn't offend anyone take care sam |
