Default A/C runs and then stops and runs again

Hi all, I've noticed my ac shutting off for a minute or less and comes back on by itself. Im pretty sure it's just the blower shutting off. Is there anything I can do to fix this before it shuts off for good? Replace relay or something? Thanx

It maybe the fan switch. They are known to go bad.

Turn all HVAC knobs all the way to the left.
Now pull them off, they come straight off, you will need to wiggle.
Remove the 2 screws, pull out HVAC unit.
Unplug it.
Now you can see the fan switch, take a emery cloth to it and clean it up, rinse with electrical contact cleaner.
Put it all back.
The switch is nothing more than a copper strip with contact points on the back of the part you move.
The copper does what copper does with age.
This tip is brought to you buy IHScouts.

It looks like our trucks may differ here. I pulled the knobs and and screws, but that only removed face plate, I had four more screws and the unit came free, but it looks like I have to pull the bezel off of the center dash that goes around the stereo and switches and other stuff to actually remove it from the dash. I will check the rave to see how to properly remove that without breaking it, and post the outcome.

No you dont, I may have left out a few screws but no, to remove the HVAC control until you do not need to remove the stereo or anything else.
Here is what it looks like out of the dash.

Ok, were you able to rotate unit inside and then pull it through opening? I didn't try that for fear of breaking something else, lol.
