Car Sputters When I Give It Gas...? - Land Rovers Only

well more problems =c)
it seems something to do w/ the throttle cable..or something...inside car..if i press the gas, the RPM's do not rise accordingly..and the car almost dies...
keep in mind this has been an issue since i did some insane crazy off roading...if i manuelly pull the cable..it still doesnt respond accordingly...any opinions? thanks guys...

Check the fuel filter and for bent or crimped fuel lines.

So do you have a check engine light?
How many miles on the truck?
There are way to many thing that could have gone wrong, you really need to stop the guessing game and have someone check it, it will drive you crazy otherwise.

check engine light DID come on..but is no longer... 124k miles...something i did off roading caused this.....

Does it do it in neutral and drive? (did you change your fuel pump yet?) LRW.
