First thing first, what year nad mileage? You need to find what caused the cats to fail before you install new ones.
Here is a good site to get cats at a good price. Get back to me and lets see why they failed. Mike |

My cats are bad....like they rattle like a son of a bitch on deceleration, and very faintly at idle. The truck had a terrible missfire long ago, before I did a good tune up (cap, rotor, wires, plugs), cleaned the IAC motor, and ran some Sea Foam through a manifold vacuum line.
Since then mine got real bad, to the point where the exhaust smells "un-catalized" so to speak, and I have a fair share of what that smells like on a bunch of EFI motors. I know I have a RRC but should I go aftermarket to save some $$$ or just bite the bullet and get OEM's? I can weld them on myself of course.

The normal things that will kill your cats, especially when they both go is too much fuel. Any type of contamination will kill the cats, oil, gas or coolant. Usually something like this will be cause because of dirty injectors, bad plugs and or wires, anything that would allow the engine to run rich, has your check engine light been on at all lately? So remember, if the contamination is pretty bad, new cats can die within a week so find the problem first. Mike |

So if you are getting close to 100,000 miles, change out all the O2's so you get better power, Atlantic British is having a sale on them.
Start checking plug and wires now to see if you can find what killed the cats. mike |
