Default CD Player Q

I recently picked up a 96 SD w/o cd player. Can I add the cd changer under the pass. seat and be good to go, or is there more to it?

Thanks All.

I have a 97 SD and mine had the wires for the CD hookup. If you have them your good to go.

Just got a CD player from a junkyard for $75 and now I've got tunes. Check around local yards, a lot cheaper than buying on ebay etc. and they should give a thirty day warranty too.

Sweet. I will check for the wiring harness, and if, so, I will search for a cd player too! Nice.

What does the wiring harness look like? UNder the seat on the 96, there is a two wire hook up with a black wire and a purple wire. Is that the only one needed for the cd player?

Thanks and Merry Christmas.
