Default Check Engine Light

Anyone know where I can start? The light came on today while pulling a small trailer (lawnmower). I usually use the pickup but used my 1996 SD instead. Fairly warm day, 95 degrees (Southern US!). Thanks for the help.

A good place to start, assuming you do not have an OBD II reader, is to stop by an Autozone and ask them to read the code for you. After that, if you'll do a search for codes on this site, you'll find a webpage that lists them..or post again and someone will let you know what it means. Sometimes, it means you didn't tighten your gas cap well enough (at least three clicks) when you filled it up. But, it could be anything.

No reader, but do have an Autozone. I'll give it a try.

Probably nothing major but get them codes and write them down. Maybe 02 sensors, MAFS...Any other problems with the Disco?
