Default Check Engine light

It is actually the Check Engine light that's on. I cleaned the stepper motor(the end of it was covered with carbon) A'm I looking in the right place at the code under the passanges seat. It reads code 48?

yes you're looking at the right spot if it read 48. After you've cleaned the idle valve, reset the codes following the directions above and keep your fingers crossed that there are not any more codes...
