continuity test procedure - Land Rovers Only

i just finshed puting in some new shocks in my rover. when working on the front, i took out the maf to give me more room to take out the shock tower. i forgot to plug it in when i moved the rover out of the garage and now i have a code 12. i tried to reset the cel but it doesnt work!

the description says to refer to test 19, continuity test procedure. what does that mean?

Code 12 - Airflow meter
Usually signals a problem with the airflow meter or the connector which can fall apart or become damaged. Refer to test 19, continuity test procedure
