I am constantly getting a clicking sound under the passanger footwell after the engine warms up. It sounds like a relay and when I come to a stop I can hear the electric cooling fans kick in and the clicking stops. When I start to drive the fans stop but the clicking under the dash persists. The heater now works fine (a cleared heater core blockage) and the temp gauge is right in the middle. Loose connection, bad relay any suggestions?
Thanks ![]() |

If you have air con fitted and on the cooling fans will come on pretty quickly after coming to a stop with the engine idling.
Only a suggestion......

The air cond is NOT on. The clicking relay sound starts when the truck warms up or on throttle. Actually, the heater is on. Anybody have any suggestions?
I have not been clear about this sound. The relay sound does not stop. It is a constant, HELP ![]() Last edited by honybears : 11-06-2005 at 01:05 PM. |
