I put a rebuilt alternator in my 95 Discovery last week now the battery dies in about 12 hours. Alternator is warm to the touch when the engine is cold and been sitting for hours.
Battery is good on a carbon pile it has 670 amps, diehard less then a year old. Charging voltage at the battery is 14.45 volts. Your thoughts, |

Its all the same junk. They have a "lifetime" warranty but you end up bring it back a few times before they give you a good one.
I would spend the $300 for a new one.
