expecting snow tonight, so i thought i would double check the diff lock...
when locked in high or low, all i hear is an amazingly annoying beeping. read in another post that its probably telling me my shifter is not all the way in place to lock the diff, but it feels like its going all the way down and i can tell a difference in the way it drives, so im pretty sure its engaged... anything else this sound could be? if its just a fluke, how can i disable it, or should i?

Hamby,
I would go drive it for a couple of blocks, you may not be engaged all the way, but most likely the switch is stuck from not being used for a long time, the drive might free things up. Mike |
