Well I went to open the rear door on my 97 Disco and it will not open at all. I tried the outside handle and the inside one with no luck. Anybody have any thoughts on how to get it open?

This topic was covered not so long ago here, you may track it down.Anyways, my recommendation at that time was: Go to pep boys and look for the "stp" silicone-based lubricant. It's on a blue can. It's way much better, because the "wd-40" tends to fade away with time/car washes/winter salt.Remove the rear green LR logo badge as previously stated, and drown the mechanism with the spray. It should work after a couple tries. Thanks for the help guys. It opened after I went to try it the other day. I have put the STP spray on it and it appears to be fine for now. I hardly use wd-40 anymore. I prefer the STP spray.
