Default Disco 1 Steering Box Leak

I've tried power steering "stop-leak".
No success.
Do i replace the seals or the entire box (rebuilt one)?

TRY REBUILDING IT, I HAVE HEARD IT WORKS, I JUST REPLACED MINE WITH A REMAN, SAVES A TON OVER A NEW ONE AND THE WARRANTY IS THE SAME, GO FIGURE----PART# IF YOU WANT IT IS STC8684E FOR THE REMAN STEERING GEAR. GOOD LUCK AND IF YOU REBUILD IT LEMME KNOW HOW IT WORKED AND WHERE YOU GOT THE RESEAL KIT? CYA

roverconnection.com has a remanufactured box for $275 (plus core charge) or a seal kit for $30.
the math says the seal kit, but it's probably time consuming, special tools needed, and it may not work.
where as, the new/used box is warranted.

definatly go with the rebuilt one. you know it'll work and stop the leak. however if you want to play around, and have some time try resealing. might be fun
take care
