Default Disco Front Diff Core - Who Recycles these?

I just replaced the front diff assembly (Third Member) on my Disco I. The pinion bearing had disintegrated so it had to go. The casting still be in good condition. However, some teeth on the pinion gear are scored from eating roller bearings.

I am guessing there are many outfits that would buy this diff core and rebuild it into a reconditioned front diff assembly. I am going to contact RoverLandParts to see if they buy back cores.

Any suggestions on who else whould be interested in buying the core for rebuild?

gonna cost you an arm and a leg to ship it too them.

they may not give you money until the see the product and then you get your money including the shipping cost.

better make sure you get everything in writing from them

and drain the thing of oil too, the us mail and other shipping companies wont touch it at all if tis leaking.

Go with one of the places other than Roverland. I stop into his shop every now and then to ask about obsure RRC parts and he seems to get rather pissed that I'm interupting his game of solitaire. He's a grumpy one.
