Disco I stalls when on steep incline - Land Rovers Only

95 disco I installs on steep incline
when I say steep, I mean off road steep.... not highway steep.
maybe approx 25 - 30 degrees if I had to guess

when It stalls, I can roll back down and re-start without much problem
doesn't happen every time, but I would say 4 times out of ten. Too much if you ask me.

any ideas??
I know this is vague, but I thought it may be a simple common problem for the disco I
