Discovery Series I RADIATOR

I'm trying to replace my radiator and I am trying to hook up the 4 auto transmission lines to the radiator but they keep slipping off when I try to tighten them. Some Help please

Are the threads stripped?

I measured the bolt on the original radiator, and the one on the new radiator and the new one is a little bit bigger. That is probably why the nut from the line while fit on it but then slips.

You need "tiny" seals.
The tiny seals allow you to tightly connect trans oil cooling lines. Make sure you replace them. Most likely only dealers might have one of those tiny seals.

In fact, I have my radiator replaced 2 years ago; those seals solved the dilemma the radiator store was having during the installation of my new radiator.

I found the problem. The replacement radiator came with adapters to go onto the original auto lines that fits onto the new radiator.

last I checked arent the transmission lines on their own cooler?

Its the oil pressure lines.

I figured it was transmission lines... red fluid flowed right out of the lines
