Discovery thermostat - Land Rovers Only

Can anyone help with some info, I have a 1993 Discovery 2.00 mpi. Do you know the Quinton Hazel part number for the cooling Thermostat, and where its located on the engine, the top hose from the rad seems to go straight into the block via a aloy housing with no obviouse thermostat fitting. ????

its inside that alloy housing...

Do you have to remove all the timing belt guard to see where the thermostat is located??????

just follow the top hose, should be 2 bolts holding the thermostat housing on take those out, pull off the housing and there is the thermostat...
