We put in a new stepper motor AKA IACV - she is running worse than before. I couldn't tell if the old stepper was plugged in tightly b/c it was so gummed up. I put the new one in and put her in tight- as I would anything, but now she is not wanting to start up at all. The check engine light went off for a few days- and then the 48 code for Stepper is back and she's really running rough.
Is there something we're missing? Should we adjust the base idle or pull the stepper out a thread or two? thanks! |
