I am getting a set from him. $30 shipped to the US. Not to bad considering 175 for a door latch. Our local Rover guy says that fixing the latch is a bad idea. (of course it is for him. He makes less). I think that the body of the latch was designed to last more than 120K.

yep, everything about the latch seemed fine to me. it was only that spring that broke, and the spring really seems like the only wear item on it. i fixed two almost a year ago and both are still doing great. it is a bit of work, but honestly, you would have to do the same amount of work to replace the latch anyway. just need a little finesse getting the new spring in.
