Default door locks

My rear drivers side door lock does not come up when I unlock the truck or when I press the door unlock button. How is the vacuum set up for the locks or is it electric?

Halliday.. you should also be able to find many posts here if you do a search on door locks as it seems to be a fairly common problem

Hey, thanks for that. First I need to find out if it is the vacuum, or the mech. Great pic. It is always good to see what something looks like before tearing something apart!!

From that page, check out the forward and backward icons on that site, as there is a narrative and several other pics of the door coming apart. Good luck, Kieran

the locks are electric,
Spray wd40 in vast amounts in any hole you can find while operating the locks.
if you have the little red straw with the wd40 you can spray into the door from the inside door release.
this will normally work
Sean
not forgetting you can overheat the locks if you lock and unlock to quickly. If you do wait 5 and all will be ok
