ok so had to take the center console off to fix a nonworking cigarette lighter plug for my phone charger. In doing so had to disconnect the e-brake cable from the lever. Put it all back together and the e-brake lever will not engage/catch
. Would anyone have a clue as to why? Thanks Robert I know some will say get a manual - I have one it's online called landroversonly.com ![]()

Maybe you forgot to put the parking cable back on? Or it came up its anchor point on either end. It is on tension and it will shrink after you took the braided cable off-tension.
