Default Ecu?

I have a 95 Discovery Auto with 107k on it that I bought in August. The thing is all stock. After I bought it I drove it trouble free of 6 weeks or so. Then I started to have problems. The fuel pump went bad so I replaced it and it ran great for a day. I went to start it and it woulnt start. I have good fuel pressure and spark. I even shot some starting fluid in her and it would still not even sputter like it would start. The on board diagnostic is flashing 02. I looked around and it says that the ECU is bad? Should I check anything else and is there a way or place that could test the ECU before I drop the money for one? Thanks for any help

hows the compression?

if its a bad ecu then it wont ground the injectors and open them.

if you have good fuel pressure it doesn't drop at all does it after a period of time?
