Trying to replace some parts and need to know? Can I figure out from my VIN number whether my DI has the EVAP Loss?
Was made in 8/96 from the looks of it. The label that is suppose to be by my hood latch is missing and that is the only direction I can find as far as how to tell.

AB says if it was made AFTER October/96, it will have an advanced system. canister and purge valve are probably the same, and newer cap will be OK on older trucks. O2 sensors are different, and likely the mapping of the ECU is different. |

So let me make sure I understand it correctly - the fuel lines, fuel pump, o2 sensors and possibly ecu mapping are different?
