In an attempt to create better outflow I am throwing around the idea of taking out the Y-pipe set up and having to mufflers in the rear. My questions is would I be able (with it being a custom job) use any cat from any v-8 and any muffler? Would there be a size requirement on the muffler being that they are actually only serving to 4 cylinders instead of 8? I have some hi-flow cats at my disposal from a jeep I-6 that I could use and would use most likely the mufflers from a v-6 or 2.5 litre (if I can find some small enough to fit in the stock muffler location).

If anyone has any trick exhaust setups any help would be appreciated.

also are there any chip upgrades or anything to help get some more power out of my 4.0?
