Question Flickering lightd

i got my Discovery in january of this year, its been excellent, except for a few details, one of them the infamous transfer case solenoid and the other one with the alternator, this is my fourth one since then. i just got the last one yesterday, but now all my lights flicker, and this hadnt happened before, not even with the previuos bad alternators. Any idea what it could be? i have already driven it well over 200 miles, and the disco doesnt seem to be loosing any power, either mechanical or elecrical.

on the bright side, just finished a 2 inch lift and new front end, now the roof rack with the tire and hi lift are justified.

Sounds like the shop that you are using is not very reliable on their rebuilds. I would suggest you order one from another Rover shop and get your money back.

hmm, it is very possible. its an aftermarket alternator as well, the one i had before, was under water for about 15 seconds. and nothing happened to it, keep in mind i dont have a snorkel. but no water came in the engine. i checked it afterwards and there was no water/oil mixture.

i must say im very proud of it. and i do go hard on it sometimes. but i mean when you spend 2 hours watching the camel trophy videos, and the land rover videos. you get sucked into beleiving that your stock truck can do anything. and i can, sometimes. JC saw it after i had forded through some high water. and it looked bad ass. since JC saw it it now sits higher, and i removed the fog lights and all the plastic things that just hang there. so to me it looks like it couldnt look any better but thats an illusion.
