Default Front Brake Rotors

Quick question I'm replacing my right front rotor. How hard is it to remove the rotor? Does it just slip off or is it attached with any bolts. All replys appreciated.

You need to remove the caliper, the hub and then bang out the rotor. It's a PIA. The caliper is held on by two 13mm star shaped bolts (use a 12 point socket). The hub is held on with 5 15mm (or 16mm) hex bolts. You will need a c-clip plier and hub nut tool also. Banging out the rotor takes time and a BFH.

What truck is it??? D1, D2? Just to add onto John's post, the hub socket is a 2-1/16th Deep Socket.

Then follow John C's instructions, you should be alright, just get a hold of a 2-1/16th deep socket to remove the hub.
