Fuel tank capacity. - Land Rovers Only

Hi world

I have a 96 discovery (ex the japanese market) and am trying to determine what the capacity of the fuel tank is. Different dealers in NZ have given me two numbers

One is 23.4 gallons, the other is 19.1 gallons.

Does anyone know which is right?

Also how far from the bottom of the tank does the warning light come on?

The manual from my 98 says it will have about 4 gallons left when the light comes on. I have been able to get 23 gallons in when on E.
