It's good down here! Except me truck blew the head (yes that's right - not the gasket although it did do that too). Expensive week

Whatever you guys do.... Do ya cambelt at 40-50K km intervals and do the P gaskets too. The previous owner of mine obviously has cooked it and now i'm paying!! I've never had this problem on the 3 that I imported myself!!

Yeah so true Oliver....had a gasket go on me too...we found the head bolts had not been torqued down properly in the factory....scary stuff....head checked out ok so reassembled with new gasket (non-land rover).....goes good now and must of been on its way out for some time....

Hi ya Ray...I belong to the Abboitts Creek Land Rover Club in Upper Hutt....is really good as there is a mine of information amongst the members and help always at hand....not to mention gaining access to places you otherwise couldn't get into...tracks etc....Cheers...
