Default The good side of hitting a cow!!!

So on my way home tonight and hit a cow Smashed in the passenger side pretty good and the bumper is about half an inch from rubbing the tire. So since I've wanted to get a scorpion racing bumper (since safarigard no longer graces us with thier presence) and switch the headlights to the DII lights I am taking this opportunity to do so. Only thing that sucks is 4x4ag doesn't have them in stock so will probably be waiting a few weeks for the bumper Anybody else know who sells them?

Robert

At least it wasnt a Bison!

That sucks, did you keep it or did it limp off only to die slowly from internal bleeding, moaning and bleating as it died?

Was up in Rapid City in July. That place is awesome. I never knew SD had such a bueatifull area.

yeah rapid city is a nice place. The Black Hills are great for any type of outdoor activity. Have some great wheel'n there as well.

As for the cow - she walked away. I wasn't going to terribly fast and the damage was minimal (replacing the lights, fender and bumper) the hood managed not to get damaged. I'm trying to figure out the headlight mounting bracket cause it seems to be part of the front section of the c-clip. Which if it is all one piece or pieces welded together that could be a pain.

Haven't decided on the bumper yet - scorpion racing or RTE.

As for pics - the damage wasn't impressive or I would have taken some.

4x4AG is the only place that sells them...I'd say wait...if you want to get something just as strong as RTE but look different...SR is the way to go...

Thanks for the pic 01001010. I like that look - I think I will be going with the SR bumper.
