If you are running an auto, it would be rare to break an axle. But the best HD axles are maxi-drive.

If you are not going to be running either ARB lockers or a Detroit locker, you will be fine with out HD axles, Otherwise you are looking at $700 for a set plus labor.

Rovertracks rear axles are good up to about a 36" tire. Keith has people running 37's and 38's, but he really does not "recommend" it. I've only ever heard of one of the RT axles breaking, and that was during an auto accident....fwiw

His current front CV's suck. BUT, in the very near future, Keith will have a tough CV option! Price will be awesome, too!

As said earlier, standard axles will be fine on 33's as long as you are running standard diff ratios.

With upgrading drive components, you have to decide what you wish to break. If you push your car over rough surfaces, something will always break. If you strengthen your axles you are more likely to break a crown wheel in the rear, or CVs and final drives in the front. So you need to work out what is the cheapest and easiest to replace and keep that component as the weakest link.

So again, you are unlikely to break the axles, but if you do, they are cheaper and easier to replace than a diff, CVs etc.
