I look to be the same size and shape as those on an early Disc. II... Were the optics improved when they went to the blacked-out style? I took a small rock in one of mine and, if there is an improvement to be had, would consider replacing both... (Also, there was a thread a while back concerning e-code lamps, [I KNOW that these are better] but it sort of died without reaching a conclusion...
