Yea, it changes color depending on the lighting. For far away I always thought it was a greenish-blue, but then up close it looks blue, but sometimes it looks green. Its strange. I like it a lot though.

I'll reiterate. I bet there are a number of things that need attention on that truck. It could be the quality of the pics, but I think people that let the inside of their vehicles get that dirty, don't take care of the rest of the car. Just my opinion.

I saw dusty cobwebs in one of your pics. Look it over carefully. Leave no stone unturned. Good luck.

I agree with you partially. She does drive it to new york city frequently (every weekend almost- her dying father lives there). I don't think she would drive if it didn't drive well because she has an Acura that gets better fuel economy. My dad who is pretty handy is going to check it out, and if it looks ok to him we're going to have a repair shop and maybe the dealer look at it.

Anyone know how much it costs for the dealer to inspect a car?

My LR dealer charges $110.00 to inspect. Really any good mechanic can do it for you and probably a bit cheaper too!

I believe I am checking out the disco either tomorrow (sunday) or the next day. Wish me luck and hope this rover is in good condition. I'll keep in mind the advice you've given me.

If I'll checks out it'll go to a reputable repair shop or the dealer for further inspection.

I'll keep you updated.
