When I push on the brakes My discovery makes a clicking sound and I have noticed that the front axel moves out quite a bit. I got out of my car and walked along side while my brother pushed the brakes and the whole front axel moves so far it looks abnormal. Please let me konw what you think thank you

Zack

First I heard of it. Are you sure things like motor mounts, suspension bars, etc are not broken? Can the front drive shaft be broken? Got me!

When the CV joint goes on the propshaft it makes a clonking. Does it do it under accelaraiton as well?

However any joint or bushing can wear. However if your front axle is moving in a direction it's not meant too I not drive it until you've sorted it out.

Zack,
Just saw your post, I would suggest you get your truck into a shop yesterday, not sure what is causing this problem but it is not safe and shouldn't be driven.
Let us know what you find.
Mike

Hi I just ordered a new drive shaft and a 3 link supsension from safari gard and i am waiting to get it to put it on and i think that will solve the problem.. I am sure it is the front controll arms worn out I can see them move alot. Does any one know if they do wear out? I don't know if they have bushings or not.

Thank you
Zack

Hope you get everything sorted.

Go to User CP at the top of the screen and there will be a whole list of stuff when you click on that. Edit avatar picture is the one your looking for.
