Hey all,
Anyone know how to reset this darn thing? Where is the module located? The one for the check engine light, not the service engine light. Izzy |

I'm not entirely sure, but I'll tell you what I know and what I've read:
From 1996, they all have OBD II system (on-board diagnostics). I have a 2000. The OBD connector is under the dash, near my right knee. To read and reset it you need a scan tool of some sort. I bought one called a Pocket Scan at Auto Zone for about 80 bucks. Once you have the code from your OBD, go to: http://www.iequus.com/obd_def.asp and type the code in the box. They'll tell you what it means. If you don't know how to interpret the result, post it here and somebody will tell you what to do. I'm assuming you have a US model. |
