Default hit a deer!

well driving home from work tonight my front right bumper caught the tail side of a decent sized deer. the ONLY damage it did was knock off the piece that sprays fluid onto the headlight. nothing else was scratched! anyone know where i can get a replacement for cheap and if it will be an easy fix? honestly i dont need them, so if i take the other one off, would plugging the hoses mess anyting up? thanks!

It won't mess anything up. Just make sure you plug them up really well or you will never have any fluid in your tank.

What happened to the deer?

In Texas, many times if you hit a deer you can call the Game Warden and they will harvest the deer and give it to programs to help feed the hungry.

As for the headlight sprayers... you can certainly plug them. Is there a seperate pump for the front sprayers??? I thought there was... if so you might want to pull the wire to that pump... no point running it if you plug the hose. hmmm

I like the idea of just turning them around and spraying someone walking in front of you. haha That could be funny!

the hedmans of course, to whatever size those ended up in, then at the Y it went to a 3" high flow cat to a Magnaflow and then it just dumps off right before the rear axle. I'll have pics and everything soon.

What I sometimes don't get is why these animals don't have the common knowledge to get the hell out of the way, then again they aren't the brightest things to realize that "Gee, I wonder if that thing traveling at 50 mph will stop for me, while I cross."

When I got my truck, the right headlight sprayer was broken off and sprayed diagonally forward (great for screwing with people at traffic lights), and the left one was just gone. So, I went one step further than plugging the hoses, I removed them entirely from the vehicle, and unplugged the leader going to the pump for it. If you're lazy, you can just remove the fuse for the headlight sprayers instead of plugging the hoses, and you're less likely to get leaks that way.
