It fits on the overhead panel but there is no connection to it. Can I splice from the wire which powers the light . I haven't done yet because I don't know for sure if this device is 12 volt or it may need a stepdown transformer of some kind because the wire is so thin that I have this doubt about voltage and in the Haynes manual doesn't show any schematic. Please need help on that
