Default Injectors...

Rumor has it, you can swap those Lucus Fuel Injectors for Bosch Type II 22lbs injectors (pink tops).

Has anyone done or heard such a thing? I guess, unless someone throws a big red flag, I will soon find out. I would rather be told, "no, dont you dare" instead of telling you guys the same later.

I'm curious too; what's the advantage of Bosch injectors-price?
I am all about suitable substitutes if they benefit my wallet.

Price has been the biggest reason for me. I just think Bosch makes a better injector as well, though. Maybe that is just a gut feeling. I have gone 150K miles on the same injectors and they are Lucus. I guess Lucus injectors can't be all that bad. But 250-275 for a set of eight... hmmm

Take a look at this site... http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/

I've had these exact same injectors in my truck for almost 2 years now, work great! 2 years ago the same company was selling these for under $200. I guess they raised the prices with the higher demand
