interior fan switch stuck - Land Rovers Only

My fan switch when in the 4th position will sometimes turn itself
off...I usually just give it a jiggle and it will come back on. Today
I jiggled it and it came back on of a few seconds and turn off again.
The lever it now stuck in between the 3rd and 4th position...and it
will not budge. I took the face off to see what was up, but saw
nothing unusual...Because it's plastic, I don't want to use too much
force...and naturally it's going to be around zero this
weekend...Anyone have any ideas...Thanks
