Question Intermittent airconditioner

Good morning from Qatar,

I purchased a 1999 Land Rover Discovery Series 2 3 weeks ago. Yesterday, after a minor fender bender the airconditioner only cools the vehicle for about 5 minutes and then blows warm air. It does seem to cycle a bit, warm air, then some cool, then back to warm air.

I'm not familiar with airconditioning systems at all as I have arrived only recently in the Middle East from Newfoundland, Canada where airconditioning is only required about 2 days of the year. Here in Qatar, it is a necessity.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Desertdriver
