Exclamation Here they are again.... on their website

In one of ASC's pdfs...They did one with Lexan.

http://www.ascglobal.com/sub_pages/n...6_GE_NAIAS.pdf

website : http://www.ascglobal.com/

All their press releases regarding "Sunvertibles": http://www.ascglobal.com/sub_pages/n...006/index.shtm

And in Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Specialty_Cars

And there is another prototype the Hummer Cosmos: http://trucks.about.com/od/conceptca..._Cosmos_02.htm

The caption for the photo below reads:
"The Cosmos has ASC's InfiniVu™ Fabric roof system. Its between-the-roof-rails top slides either rearward or forward and can stop at any point along the roof. The system has a moving horizontal header at the D-pillar, which moves out of the way as the roof slides forward."

Please excuse the burriness. This is from my Treo 650. It is good in some things, but not photographing glossy magazines.

Nice, though, aint it?
Now that would be pretty dern cool. I would look into this myself but I bet it cost a fortune. I tell you what I've got a 84 Jeep (CJ-7) yea I know I know, and its hard to not love wheeling without doors or a top.

It is about 1600 but for a forward or back adjustable rag roof?? I think it should be a nice option for warmer climates. But it could also be fun in Iceland, as well.

That would be great in Yellowstone park in the winter. In the summer, the bears would destroy it.
