Loss Of Power - Land Rovers Only

HELLO ... MY 1994 LD1 STARTED TO LOOSE POWER AND NOT GO MORE THAN 5 MILES AN HOER THE OTHER DAY HAD A/C ON DROVE ABOUT 200 MILES IN TRAFFIC LOST POWER TRUCK SHUT OFF WOULD NOT START WATED 2 MIN STARTED RIGHT UP HAD POWER AGAIN FOR ABOUT A MILE AND STARTED TO LOOSE POWER AGAIN... ANY IDEAS ONLY HAPPENS WHEN HOT OUT SIDE AND DRIVING WITH A/C...????

Do I understand you correctly: when it is cool outside and the AC is off, the engine/vehicle runs fine...What about when you are experiencing the symptoms in warmer weather and you reach over and turn the AC off - does the engine run properly the instant the AC goes off?
The first thing to come into my mind is a clogged fuel filter (but that should be independent of the AC...)

Need more information.
