Im rebuilding my engine (98 d1) and i need a manual. which one do you guys suggest? i saw http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/9291D.cfm but was wondering if there was one cheaper. i found a haynes but the dont have a manual for the US, only the UK so id have to ship it. Does anyone know if it should be the same as what i need? http://www.haynes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/s...egory_rn=10215

I wouldn't recommend the Tuning V8's book as that is more specialized. If you own a Discovery you really need to own the factory repair manual which is the fist one you showed. Try books4cars.com as they seem to consistently have the best prices for Land Rover books.
