Where is the window lift ECU located?
Some of these questions may sound silly but I am used to working on VW.

The controller should be behind the glove box. Chances are there is a fault in the circuit board otherwise it is more likely one rear window would still work. For pictures and details on this repair try: www.discoweb.org/window/

Well, it worked fine after I soldered it until I snaped the chip in half while trying to stick it back in the box.
Now my all my windows are stuck down. I just ordered a ECu off Tide Water's ebay store. Hope it comes soon.

bad luck Badger! Just keep reminding yourself of all the money you are saving over a dealer repair....
