Need help diagnosing a problem

Hi all, I have a V8 Fxi done 120k miles, automatic. When last driving her she shook at around 50mph and lost power. Would not sit in gear waiting for traffic lights had to put her into neutral or stall.

Now runs for maybe 10 mins then stops. Will not restart. Wait a couple of hours and she will start again.

I am not sure whether this is an engine problem and it is seizing or something to do with mixture or engine control electronics.

Any help on further diagnosis would be appreciated.

if no codes then start looking at sensors when it gets hot. Its possible when it warms up the resistance in a wire is changing causing the engine to shut down. heat it up and when it shuts down check the resistance and voltage drop across the cam and crankshaft sensor circuits.
