Red face need help, have a shudder

stumped on problem.

I have a 1997 Discovery SE7, automatic 106,000 miles, recently bought this used...it is my third rover so I have experience in repair.

cleaned and fixed it up, engine runs smooth when started, idle and in park, (changed fluids, plugs, ignition wires, filters). cycles through the gears no problem, so transmission seems fine. When I put it in drive and let it idle down the street at about 10 miles an hour no problem, alingment is good.

When I hit the gas though I get a shudder until about 2500 RPM's then it thins out...gear change...happens again...could it be the gearbox, motor mounts, catalytic converter,? front axle doesnt look bent or out of shape. I am stumped and cant figure it out. not afraid to fix whatever it is...but I cant fix it if I dont know where to start.

HELP!

Default got it

Hey everyone. Found the problem, turns out that the shudder was a misfire issue because i have a bad coil pack, ($350.00) at atlantic british...also need to change the b.s. champion spark plugs for bosch.

so this one gonna cost me, a little bit...but good experience.
