Exclamation Need Help Trouble Shooting -Please

Hello wonderful people, haven't posted in awhile but got a problem I need Help With. Got a 96 Disco 4.0 Gem with 210,000 miles on it and this is honestly the first problem that I can't figure out. So,......Yesterday I ran through a large puddle that engulfed the whole front of the Rover. Drove about 1/2 mile and ran fined , parked, sat for about 2 hours, got back in and about half a mile later it bogged, back fired, and lost all power, and went to a crawl. If I let up on gas completly for about 30 sec and repress, I'll get power for a sec or two then boggs back down. She Idles fine, and revs fine in park. Put it in gear and after 2 secs boggs again. Pulled plug wires to see if water was in and sparking to all cylinders, seems ok. Let it sit over night to hopefully dry out and still happens. ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED! DOES IT MAYBE HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WATER?? PLEASE HELP. THANKS! And of course - YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

I'm struggling with fuel delivery problems right now and one thing I was told several times is that the fuel filter, even when badly clogged, can't affect the engine enough to make a significant difference.

Maybe your truck just had time to "dry off" and mysteriously started going again. Heaven knows that's never happened on a Land Rover before.... right...

Either way, your truck is running and that's all that counts
