New Owner. Just trying to fix things...

Hi, I am a new owner of a beautiful black 96 Disco and just trying to feel out this car. I own a mazda fd as my speed toy and thought it was time to buy a vehicle to feed my off road itch. Anywho, I was trying to find out all the recalls that have been put out on this vehicle so I can get it in to Land Rover and get them fixed. I found the airbag, fuel tank, and door failure one, but what about the dash? Is that a recall or not. I seem to be finding mixed anwsers to that question, so I figure I should just ask the owners myself.

P.S. Any advice on this vehicle besides the obvious(change oil blah blah) would be greatly appreciated.

Call the dealer with your vehicle
s vin, they will run a search and tell you what recalls have been done and what might be open.
As for the dash, forget it, there is no recall, there is a repair kit on line when you get ready to do it, check out Rover Connection for the parts.
As for the maintance needed, how many miles on the truck?

thanks for the info on the dash. I will take a look for that repair kit. I guess you can just google for it huah?
