WEll, Well, we finally have gotten from the base 1996 Disco I SE7 up to a full blown off road vehicle now. Wish my 5050 compaq would load a pic or two. Question is this; the directions for aiming the lights say to measure from the ground to the center of the lights at the vehicle and then from a distance of more than 10 feet mark a spot on a wall and align the lights with the marks which make the lights horizontally even. However, the distance between the lights at the vehicle and at the wall are different. Should I adjust the lights so they will be the same distance apart at the wall also? Thanks
P.S. Buckshot Mudders, gas tank guard, new bumper with Warn 9k winch and front guard and Optilux 100 watt lights and new 2" Big Blue Springs.

I assune you are talking about an aftermarket light and not your headlights. If that's the case there is no good way to aim them by the numbers, what I would do is go out to a large enty parking lot at night. Then flip on your headlights, and aim the auxilery lights so that they will in where the headlights fall off, then point them outward a little bit so that you gt minimal overlap, and maximum coverage.
