Newbie Here, In Need of a Engine 4.0 DI
Newbie needing a motor. I bought a 98 DI with some "motor noise", but had a bad rod knock 45 minutes down the highway, didn't even make it home, ended up towing it with a UHaul trailer.
So I'm in need a motor, long or short block. Or if someone can tell me a good place to buy a rebuild kit, I'll pull the motor and tear it down and have a machine shop rebuild it. Also any help with problems that I might run into, I've pulled many motors, mostly imports, but wondering if there is tricks to be aware of. Thanks, GCN.
