On the rear window there are some wires (chime in beezel) right next to the defrost - similar connection type, are they connected or did they break off? Come on Beezel, help me with the right words here! Well, mine broke off, had to solder them back on. Now me bloody light works chaps!

I had the same problem with my brakes lights. I was fed up, and the dealer recommended new light kits. The bulb case gets hot and damaged they said. I went on line to British Atlantic and got them for $38.00 each, including bulbs. Easy to install (took hubby less than an hour to install both), and it was soooo worth it! I was tired of dealing with my brake lights. It's a common problem I can see when looking at Discos on the road. Good luck, M
